The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body would like to appoint a contractor to design, install and maintain a sound and voting system for its debating chamber. At a minimum the system must; Have integrated audio and voting consoles, with unique user registration, for 129 MSPs. Allow MSPs to speak and be heard throughout the Chamber, vote, request to speak and allow for different audio channels to feed in to each console (e.g. to allow for interpretation). Be able to integrate with the SPCB broadcasting systems. The audio and voting data from each console must be capable of being exported to other systems managed by the SPCB. Audio must be of broadcast quality. Equipment must be suitable for users with accessibility requirements. Equipment must enable simultaneous interpretation of Parliamentary business within the Chamber. Any suppliers who consider themselves capable of providing this service, or wishing to request further information, are invited to contact procurement@parliament.scot by 25/09/19.. Installation of equipment is to take place in Summer 2021.
