Contract Summary
We require an ecological consultant to provide services in relation to the design of woodland creation projects on two land holdings within the Wild Strathfillan project area. The consultant is required to: - evaluate existing conditions, - identify potential constraints, - and create a design that maximizes biodiversity in this landscape. The successful consultant will have a detailed knowledge of the biodiversity potential of woodland habitats along with experience of implementing best-practice management to maximise benefits to biodiversity. They must also demonstrate extensive experience in woodland creation and ecological design, knowledge of local ecology, biodiversity, and relevant environmental policies and experience of working on similar projects.
