Notice Title

Network Enablement Services

Notice Description

Scottish Ministers are seeking to establish a collaborative arrangement for Network Enablement Services.

Lot Information

Lot 1

Scottish Procurement intends to establish a collaborative arrangement for Network Enablement Services. The new arrangement will look to develop and build upon the current collaborative Network Enablement Services framework agreement which is due to expire in October 2018. The scope of the new collaborative arrangement is still being developed however the broad scope is expected to focus on the provision of vendor neutral technical network advice (including areas such as network security, suggestions for improved energy consumption and efficiency across an organisations network, support of Internet of Things (IoT) network integration, support of Unified Communications (UC) network integration, audit and analysis of network services, network infrastructure project management, network upgrades, support in procurement of network services, migration of existing network services, network solution design and implementation of new network services), support with network estates and the resulting enablement of these network services. There is potential to have a single or if required, a multi lot arrangement. Consideration is also being given to delivering this arrangement through a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). A key objective of a DPS is to offer a straightforward, flexible and suitable route to market for Scottish public sector organisations and further details on a DPS can be found in our Procurement Journey - https://www.procurementjourney.scot/node/547/
