Summary of the contracting process

The City of Edinburgh Council is conducting a public procurement for the "Housing Property Capital Works Framework 2019 - 2023", which has now been extended to run from 2020 to 2024. This procurement falls within the works category and is set to take place in Edinburgh, UK. The current stage of the procurement is awarded, with key dates including a contract sign date of 30 November 2020. The procurement method is designated as "selective" under a restricted procedure, aiming to engage qualified suppliers for various public construction and maintenance projects.

This procurement framework presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those in the construction and maintenance sectors. Ideal candidates include SMEs and larger firms specializing in electrical works, plumbing, mechanical installations, and general building maintenance. Companies that can demonstrate experience in domestic and commercial property repairs and upgrades, especially those familiar with working in urban environments like Edinburgh, will be well-positioned to compete for contracts under this framework.
