Notice Title
Data Loggers
Notice Description
At Network Rail, we are modernising our approach to managing the railway infrastructure. As part of this we need to collect data in near real time from the hundreds of thousands of assets that make up our railway system. We want an intelligent and resilient infrastructure monitoring system that collects, analyses and delivers asset data and insights that our engineering teams can rely on, learn from, identify potential faults, and diagnose the cause of faults that occur. In the last five years, Network Rail has spent over PS24 million on data loggers and related equipment used in remote condition monitoring and digital event recording to monitor thousands of track circuits, points operating equipment, relay interlockings, level crossings, cable insulation, points heating, room environment and a range of bespoke assets across Britain's railway infrastructure. We want this technology to play an increasing role in a modern railway and are interested in understanding the capabilities in the market. We are looking for suppliers to provide hardware, associated equipment and services that can deliver against our requirements. In order to view further background information and express an interest in this requirement please follow the instructions below: 1. Follow the link - https://networkrail.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html 2. From the welcome screen, access the "View Current Opportunities" link and select "Data Loggers". 3. Click on the attachments "Data Loggers PIN" which contains more information about our requirement, and the "Data Loggers - RFI Submission Template".

Network Rail may be looking to tender this requirement in the near future, any potential tender event in relation to this requirement may be issued via the Network Rail procurement platform - BravoNR, Technology - Supplier Qualification System (SQS).
