Notice Description
Further competition under GCA RM6331 Lot 2B for the provision of a full comprehensive Make Ready service to ensure the scheduled number of vehicles are cleaned, re-stocked, fully equipped and ready for use to meet the Buyer's operational demands.
Lot Information
Lot 1
The purpose of this contract is to provide comprehensive make ready and transportation services for the Trust, involving vehicle preparation and cleaning service for Ambulances including monitoring and re-stocking medical equipment/consumables.
This service must ensure that all service vehicles within the scope of the specification are cleaned and equipped to the required standards, and within the agreed timescales/frequency.
Also providing C1 classified drivers to deliver transport solutions between Trust sites and service garages, to meet operational support requirements in an efficient manner ensuring adherence to safe and efficient delivery of services, supporting the roles of Fleet Maintenance, Operations and Make Ready.
The contract will be for an initial 3-year period, with a potential two further 2-year extension opportunities.
The Trust wishes to extend the use of any resulting contract to Southern Ambulance Services Collaboration ("SASC") members. These Trusts shall contract directly with the successful Provider using the GCA Call-Off schedule.
The Suppliers appointed to Lot 1A will be responsible for the provision of standard wash linen and laundry services, including the processing (wash and finish) and transportation (collection and return) of linen items to Buyers;
Renewal: The initial duration of the Framework is 36 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. CCS reserve the right to extend lots by varying durations
Specialist Laundry Services (Theatre Packs)The Suppliers appointed to Lot 1B will be responsible for the provision of Specialist Laundry Services (theatre packs and drapes) including the processing (wash and finish) and transportation (collection and return) of items, which are hired to the Buyer from the Supplier;

Standard Wash Linen and Laundry Services and Theatre PacksThe Suppliers appointed to Lot 1C will be responsible for the provision of standard wash linen and laundry services and Specialist Laundry Services (theatre packs and drapes);
Renewal: The initial duration of the Framework is 36 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. CCS reserve the right to extend lots by varying durations
Specialist Cleanroom Laundry ServicesThe Suppliers appointed to Lot 1D will be responsible for the provision of Specialist Cleanroom Laundry Services including the processing (wash and finish) and transportation (collection and return) of cleanroom garments at the ISO classification specified by the Buyer at the Call-Off stage;
Renewal: The initial duration of the Framework is 36 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. CCS reserve the right to extend lots by varying durations
General Cleaning Services and Pest ControlThe Suppliers appointed to Lot 2A will be responsible for the provision of routine cleaning to enhance the patient environment of the Buyers Premises in accordance with national standards for cleaning and infection control and prevention. The Suppliers appointed to Lot 2A will be responsible for the provision of a range of Pest Control Services.

Ambulance and Vehicle Deep Clean ServicesThe Suppliers appointed to Lot 2B will be responsible for the provision of specialist cleaning and make ready services for ambulances and vehicles associated with the delivery of clinical services.

Non-Hazardous Clinical WasteThe Suppliers appointed to Lot 3A will be responsible for the provision of Waste Management Services for non-hazardous clinical wastes on behalf of the Buyer(s).

Feminine Hygiene WasteThe Suppliers appointed to Lot 3F will be responsible for the provision of Waste Management Services for feminine hygiene wastes on behalf of the Buyer(s).

Total Waste Management ServiceSuppliers appointed to Lot 3g will be capable of delivering all Services included within Lots 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E and 3F as a total waste management service.

Patient CateringThe Suppliers appointed to Lot 4A will be responsible for the provision of a healthy, nutritious and appetising full meal service to patients including both in-patients and day patients (where required).

Retail Catering and Hospitality ServicesThe Suppliers appointed to Lot 4B will be responsible for the provision of an appealing and healthy range of retail catering solutions and hospitality services for visitors and staff.

Bundled Soft FMSuppliers appointed to Lot 5 will be responsible for the provision of two or more services from Lots 1a - 1d, 2a, 3a - 3g, 4a - 4b or additional services for grounds maintenance, security, porterage and logistics, and visitor support services
